How to Use:
- Before first use, season the hydrometer by filling it with saltwater and letting it sit on a level surface for 24 hours.
- Submerge the hydrometer about 6 inches below the water line.
- Let the water reach the fill line, then remove it and place it on a level surface for an accurate reading.
- Tap gently to remove any air bubbles.
- Read specific gravity on the inside scale and salinity on the outside scale.
- Rinse with fresh water after each use for optimum accuracy.
Cleaning Instructions:
To maintain accuracy, soak the hydrometer in lukewarm water or vinegar for 30 minutes to remove salt deposits, then rinse and air dry.
